How Dualrift handles information
Effective date: August 3, 2026
Overview
Dualrift is published by Bas GD (“we,” “us,” or “our”). No player account is required. The game stores progress locally and uses Google services to provide advertising, consent choices, and related measurement and fraud prevention.
Information stored on your device
Dualrift stores gameplay information locally, including:
- best score, level progress, selected ship style, and sound setting;
- run totals, survival time, hazards dodged, and close dodges;
- rating-prompt timing and count.
We do not send this gameplay progress to a Dualrift-owned server. Android backup and device-transfer extraction are disabled for this app, so the saved gameplay preferences remain on that device. You can remove it by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
Advertising and third-party services
Dualrift uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your location, settings, consent choices, and the ads available, these services may collect or share:
- IP address and IP-derived approximate location;
- app interactions such as launches, taps, and video views;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- device identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID.
Google describes this processing as supporting advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit. Google’s handling of information is governed by its own policies, including the Google Privacy Policy.
Support communications
If you email us for support, we receive your email address, message, and any device or diagnostic details you choose to include. We use that information only to respond, investigate the issue, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell support messages or use them for advertising.
Internet connection
Core gameplay works without an internet connection. When a connection is available, Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform use it for consent, ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. If those services are unavailable, the game continues without an ad.
Your choices
- Where required, Dualrift presents consent choices before requesting ads and provides a Privacy Choices entry point when Google indicates that one is required.
- Android settings allow you to reset or delete your advertising ID and manage other privacy controls.
- You can clear locally stored game progress through Android’s app storage settings or by uninstalling Dualrift.
Children’s privacy
Dualrift has no in-game age gate or adult-only content, but it is not designed or marketed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has contacted us or provided personal information, email basgdstudio@gmail.com so we can review the request and take appropriate deletion steps.
Security and retention
Local gameplay and preference data remains until you clear app storage or uninstall Dualrift. We retain support communications only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, investigate related issues, protect the service, or comply with law. You may email us to request deletion of a support conversation. Google retains third-party service data under its policies and applicable law. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use platform security controls and encrypted network connections where supported.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the game, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
